Condition-Improver Cubes For Winter Weight Gain

Winter weight loss is a worry for lots of horse owners and for some horses, once they have lost weight, it is tricky to get it back on them over the colder months.

Pair that with finding the balance between weight gain and maintaining a trainable temperament and winter feeding can become overwhelming. However, Saracen have got a solution and Catherine shared with us how well it has worked for her horse.

Piper (Powerful Society) is an ex-racehorse who came off the track as a 5-year-old in 2020 after a busy career as a flat racer whilst also trying her hooves at steeplechase. Piper was bought by Catherine with the aim to re-train her and is loving jumping and cross country but has been struggling with her condition this winter. After a routine health check from the vet, Catherine contacted Saracen for some advice after a friend recommended us to her.
