Feed Body weight Frequency
1.0 - 2.0kg 200-400kg Per day
2.0 - 3.5kg 400-600kg Per day
3.5 up to 5.0kg >600kg Per day
These feeding rates are intended as a guide only. Always try to feed a minimum of 1.5% of bodyweight as good quality forage per day.

N.B These feed levels give the minimum and maximum feeding rates for each range of bodyweights (BW), ie a pony of any BW between 200-400kg could be fed between 1-2kg per day depending on their requirements.

HORSE & PONY COOLING CUBES contain linseed which is the richest vegetable source of Omega-3 fatty acids. Increasing dietary levels of Omega-3 fatty acids can have extremely beneficial effects on coat and skin condition and can also aid in joint health and mobility.

Oatfeed is a rich source of beta-glucan which has been shown to have positive effects on the immune system, glycaemic response post-feeding, and on digestive health (Lindinger et al., 2017). Beta-glucan is a soluble fibre source that acts as a coating for the stomach lining and can help to regulate sugar release from the digestive system. It has also been shown to support immune response in performance horses (Paap & Roberti, 2014).
