Alan Davies

Alan has been working in the equine industry since leaving school at the age of 17. He has been fortunate enough to work with some amazing horses and riders in many different disciplines.

In the beginning Alan worked mainly with showjumpers, spending a lot of time in the USA and flying horses around the world. Alan has been to three Olympic Games, four World Championships and numerous European Championships. His most memorable would be grooming for Carl and Charlotte at the 2012 London Olympics.

In 2016 he was honoured to win the very first Horse and Hound Grooms Award followed by the prestigious FEI Grooms Award the following year.

He currently splits his time between running Carl’s hugely successful yard and traveling the horses both nationally and internationally to competitions for both Carl and Charlotte.
